saw this one the other day, the ending was beautiful
i've never realized that a bunch of my favorite movies were from the same director until i saw this one and actually noticed his name

seems like the plot is a ripoff of pinochio, a bit, mixed with modern day, sex deprived, deranged males.

I remember reading an article years back, about this guy who swore off women to pursue happiness with his doll. he was teaching her how to communicate with him 'realistically' as possible. usually failed, but baby, it is the state of denial that counts<3

yeah, it's lightly inspired by pinochio but this one doesn't have a happy ending

some while back i was watching pretty much every single episode of "my strange addiction" i could find on youtube lol appart from ash eating and piss drinking ladies, this one guy had a sex doll and he really lived a "normal" couple life with her
i though the way he talked about her was really amusing but innocently cute, he said she was bisexual and that they were thinking of getting a new doll in the house, but he had to ask the other doll for permission because she was really jealous... and they also played chess together! so lovely

Stephen King is currently writing the sequel. I preferred the book to the movie but each to their own I guess.
