Apparently various Ustreamers were having various issues upon streaming, including me apparently. Wonder what was up. oh well.

That said, the march was a success :D thousands marched with us. It was pretty awesome.

We were at the end of the parade actually. we kinda knew they weren't gonna air anything of us. no biggies. was expected. in fact, there seems to be a blackout about it in the mainstream media, so what's new? same ol' same ol'
Was in Oakland this saturday:

fast forward to 13:01 for clash with oakpd... Oakpd went all out on people, yikes.

OAKPD = the new LAPD

Only in Oakland does it get this rough for any Occupy action... not even in Wallstreet does it get this rough... and it gets pretty rough out there as well.

I myself wasn't streaming, since I returned both my mobile phones already. I couldn't afford it. Verizon asks too much for the service and i don't want a contract. I'll be back in action streaming on May 1st though, when OccupyLA in solidarity with other occupations attempt a general strike for the day.

Everyone got arrested towards the end of the night, but charges will likely be dropped, due to OakPD not following policy:

@31:17 for mass arrests
I'm occupying Sacramento (California capitol) today! Students from the UC's and CSU's//teachers+workers all protesting!

woot woot

also, in other news, they been trying to put this bill into law that makes it illegal to protest basically any politicians under the protection of the secret service:

anti-occupy bill basically.

yeah, they came to OccupyLA at one point.

Any info on a spring resurgence.  I've heard little things here and there but am unsure.  The OWS movement is nowhere near its potential yet, I'd hate to see it die out just because of the winter.
^ that

There's also a May 1st general strike in the works.

Among a few small actions here and there locally and whatnot.

People still meet at GAs and whatnot.

That is fucking lame. Another way to cripple our freedom of expression. The government is trying to silence its people, a trend seen in other countries that we try to "save" with our "democracy."
Interesting video on the dysfunction and instability of capitalism and what can be done to change the system.

!
If anyone in the LA area is interested, we'll be holding general strike actions throughout the day on May 1st:

http://occupyla.org/post/21734114001/the-plan

There will be caravans coming from the West, East and South of LA (North is being worked on at the moment).

West: https://www.facebook.com/events/376385959062131/

East: https://www.facebook.com/events/132733003518299/

South: https://www.facebook.com/events/414777108549651/

I'll either be joining the South or East caravan while streaming live... if not I'll likely be covering the Downtown area, where everyone will join/come together etc
Oh, if you can't make it, you can at least participate passively, by not going to school or work (call in sick) and don't buy anything on that day etc
(call in sick)
haha __if every one will "call in sick" __they(gov) will think what this is some danger epidemic ...or attack of terrorists _LOL again?
don't worry MONO _i will not work tomorrow! _f*ck yeah!
